- New Nitrious accelerated graphics core.
- Enhancements to Nitrous accelerated graphics core improves performance and visual quality, helping you create spectacular images faster.
- New interoperability with Alias Design software allows you to import .WIRE files natively into 3ds Max Design 2012 as Bodies objects, preserving object names, hierarchies, layers, and material names.
- You can now create non-photorealistic (NPR) effects by being able to render stylised images in the viewport and with the Quicksilver renderer.
- Automatically create highly realistic visualisations from civil data from AutoCAD Civil 3D with the Civil View (formerly Dynamite VSP) feature set.
