OCULA plug-in for NUKE
Take the headache out of stereo post-production with OCULA, a unique collection of eight plug-in tools that add extra functionality to existing NUKE features.
OCULA plug-ins have been designed to automatically replicate key processes on left and right channels and help artists polish and refine stereoscopic material much more easily and quickly than using traditional methods.
Created by The Foundry’s Sci-Tech Award-winning R&D teams, OCULA offers artists new ways to achieve considerable improvements and efficiencies within post production workflows.
At present, OCULA is only available on the NUKE platform.
Features
- Solver tool helps work out the geometrical relationships between the left and right cameras.
- DisparityGenerator tool produces detailed map of correspondence.
- Colourmatcher has been designed to correct subtle colour differences that are typically present in stereo pairs by attempting to match colour distributions between left and right views.
- Corrolate adds functionality to NUKE and substantially improves productivity by allowing rotos and paint strokes to be automatically copied from one eye to the other using the generated disparity.
