Planar hardware for viewing 2D/3D imagery

Planar offers high-quality hardware for viewing of 3D images. All their products offer a comfortable and stunning visual experience.

The innovative technology behind these products is performed through left and right separation, presenting a left eye image to the left eye and a right eye image to the right eye. The stereoscopic display allows the visual system to merge the two images, giving the perception of depth, or stereoposis. Combined with lightweight polarised glasses the user can view images in comfort while still achieving full stereo resolution. Images can be seen by multiple users from multiple angles.

 A StereoMirror™ monitor consists of two AMLCD displays, positioned at a fixed angle by specially designed mounting stands.

3D Vision monitors require shutter glasses to benefit from the left and right separation. This innovative technology displays the frames sequentially with black frame insertion between the left and right images. An emitter synchronises the glasses so that the left eye is blocked when a left image is shown.
